What We Do
The demands made upon carers can affect their health because they have no time to unwind.
Having a few hours to themselves is essential for physical and mental well-being,
without which it can become increasingly difficult to cope with the pressure of looking after someone
with long-term illness or disability.
Crossroads Care will support you if you are looking after someone who needs constant care.
We can provide a Care Attendant to take over your duties and give you a proper break.
We also run weekly Social Clubs where people being cared for
can meet in small groups away from the home environment, and from time to time
we organize days out for children who are either clients or young carers.
We can help on a regular or occasional basis, and our Care Attendants work any time of the day, seven days a week.
The Care Attendants are carefully chosen and
all of them have been through our training programme.
We are regulated by The Commission for Social Care Inspection and have the highest quality rating – 3 stars.
